How do I know if my product can be finished or refinished?
If your product is made of solid wood and does not contain severe twists or warps, then we most likely can finish your wood. For wood refinishing, we can only provide our services on products that have not previously been treated with any type of toxic chemicals.
When can a product NOT be refinished?
We are unable to finish or refinish wood that is severely twisted or products that are not solid wood. Additionally, we cannot provide our services on any wood that has been treated with toxic chemicals.
How can you finish my product?
We can perform four major finishing services: sanding, reapplying finish, resurfacing warps and bends, and sealing.
Reapplying finish can only be done for oil-based finishes. If the product cannot be relocated to our worksite (ie - the finishing must be performed in the field), only natural oil-based sealants can be applied.
Can you finish/refinish my product(s) at my location?
Yes, in our Products & General Services inquiry form, please make a note that your product must be finished/refinished at your location. Please note, if you are requesting a finishing sealant service we can only apply natural oil-based sealants to products that are finished in the field (ie - those we cannot move back to our facility).
