How urban infrastructure can be both ecologically functional and a model for the circular economy. At the core of this project is a custom swale system and decking designed to capture and treat stormwater runoff. We provided custom-milled salvaged Monterey cypress for the site’s monumental blocks and decking. The trees were originally removed during an SFPUC project, diverted from the waste system.
