Stanford University Tree Recycling and Removal

Stanford, CA

As beautiful as the end products we make from salvaged wood are, it's important to highlight the expertise, hard work, precautions, and considerations required for taking down and harvesting the trees beforehand. It is our privilege to serve as the Project Manager for this multi-year tree salvaging project alongside ZGF Architects, Interstice Architects, Whiting-Turner, Parkwest, and Hamilton Tree Service Inc. Together, we safely removed huge Coast Live Oak trees and a Blue Oak, ensuring they came down in the safest way that minimizes ecological damage to the area. We at Bay Area Redwood will now utilize the wood harvested from this project, transforming it into products for campus use and other projects to continue the trees' long legacy.
